2022 Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Upper Peninsula Golf Association was held on Saturday, October 29th at Highland Golf Club. The meeting was sparsely attended with only representatives from Portage Lake, Young’s, Wawonowin, Highland, Riverside, Gladstone, Pine Grove, Indian Lake and Little River in attendance.
Secretary/Treasurer Glen Reinke chaired the meeting in which routine matters of the Association were conducted. The most notable information for our playing members is that the Senior UP Championship will be held on June 12-13 at Wawonowin while the U.P Championship will be held August 9-12 at Portage Lake. Portage Lake was the host of the very first UP Championship in 1912.
Succeeding Reinke as Secretary/Treasurer will be Jamie Davison representing Gladstone Golf Club. Jamie has extensive experience in the golf industry throughout the Upper Peninsula and is highly qualified for the position.
