Junior Tour Championship Completed

The 2020 U.P.G.A. Junior Tour Championship was held on Monday, August 3rd at Terrace Bluff Golf Club in Gladstone.  Fifty-one golfers competed in several age brackets for the right to compete in the GAM Jr. Invite in Lansing on September 12-13.  The top five boys and the top two girls earned the chance to go down-state.

Bryson Mercier was the medalist for the field with an outstanding one-under par 71. Other GAM qualifiers in the 16-18 age division were Drew Anderson - 75; Matt Anderson - 77; Brady Badker - 77 and Joseph Luke - 78.

Carson Chartier won the boys 14-15 division with a 79 while Grahm Johnson won the boys 12-13 group with a nine-hole score of 40. Gavin Burcar was victorious in the boys 10-11 field with a 43.

Rachel Niskanen won the girls 14-15 group with a score of 102.
