Marquette to Host UPGA Championship

Marquette Golf Club is set to host the 112th Annual UPGA Men’s Championship. The field consists of 108 golfers representing fifteen UPGA Member Clubs. The 72 hole stoke-play event will be held August 6-9 and will include two rounds on the Heritage Course and two rounds on Greywalls.
PGA Professional Bob Bastian has done a masterful job of organizing the tournament. In addition to the stroke-play tournament, participants will have the opportunity to play in a “horse race” event as well as a putting contest.
Two members of the Marquette Golf Club will serve as honorees and will be recognized at Friday’s banquet.
